Description

These No-Bake Peanut Butter Bars with Chocolate Topping are the perfect sweet treat for any occasion. With a creamy peanut butter base, rich chocolate topping, and a festive sprinkle finish, these bars are as fun to make as they are to eat. No oven needed, just mix, layer, chill, and enjoy!

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 cup creamy peanut butter
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted
  • 2 cups powdered sugar
  • 1 1/2 cups graham cracker crumbs
  • 1 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips
  • Sprinkles for decoration (optional)

Instructions

  1. Line an 8×8-inch baking dish with parchment paper, leaving an overhang for easy removal.
  2. In a microwave-safe bowl, melt the butter. Mix in the peanut butter until smooth, then stir in powdered sugar and graham cracker crumbs until fully combined.
  3. Press the peanut butter mixture firmly into the prepared baking dish, smoothing the surface with a spatula.
  4. Melt the chocolate chips in a microwave-safe bowl, heating in 20-second intervals and stirring in between to prevent burning.
  5. Pour the melted chocolate over the peanut butter layer, spreading evenly with a spatula.
  6. Decorate with sprinkles, if desired, while the chocolate is still warm.
  7. Refrigerate for at least 1 hour or until the chocolate topping is set.
  8. Once chilled, lift the bars out of the pan using the parchment paper. Slice into squares and serve.

Notes

  • For a crunchier texture, add chopped peanuts to the peanut butter layer.
  • Substitute dark or white chocolate for the topping if preferred.
  • Store leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 1 week or in the freezer for up to 2 months.
