For the Garlic Parmesan Chicken & Steak:
- 2 boneless chicken breasts
- 2 thick-cut steaks (such as ribeye or sirloin)
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- 1 tsp paprika
- Salt and pepper to taste
For the Cheesy Loaded Mashed Potatoes:
- 4 large russet potatoes, peeled and chopped
- 1/2 cup sour cream
- 1/2 cup milk
- 1/4 cup butter
- 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
- 1/4 cup chopped chives (optional)
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- Prepare the Mashed Potatoes
- Boil chopped potatoes in salted water for 15-20 minutes, or until fork-tender. Drain and return to the pot.
- Add butter, sour cream, milk, cheddar cheese, salt, and pepper. Mash until smooth and creamy. Cover and set aside.
- Cook the Chicken and Steak
- Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C).
- Heat 1 tablespoon of olive oil in a skillet over medium-high heat. Season chicken with paprika, salt, and pepper, and sear for 2-3 minutes per side. Remove and set aside.
- Add another tablespoon of olive oil. Season steak with paprika, salt, and pepper, and sear for 2-3 minutes per side. Remove and set aside.
- Make the Garlic Parmesan Sauce
- In the same skillet, reduce heat to medium and sauté minced garlic for 1 minute.
- Add heavy cream and grated Parmesan, whisking until smooth. Simmer for 2-3 minutes to thicken. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
- Assemble the Dish
- Spread the mashed potatoes evenly in a baking dish. Arrange chicken and steak on top.
- Pour the garlic Parmesan sauce over everything, ensuring the meat is well-coated.
- Sprinkle shredded mozzarella cheese generously over the dish.
- Bake and Serve
- Bake in the preheated oven for 10-15 minutes, or until the cheese is bubbly and golden.
- Garnish with chopped chives if desired and serve warm.
