- 1 cup fresh basil leaves
- 1/4 cup balsamic glaze
- Salt and freshly cracked black pepper to taste
- Cocktail picks or small skewers
Instructions
- Rinse and dry the cherry tomatoes and basil leaves. Drain and pat dry the mozzarella balls to remove excess moisture.
- Thread one cherry tomato onto a skewer, followed by a basil leaf (folded if needed), and a mozzarella ball. Repeat the sequence for longer skewers if desired.
- Arrange the skewers neatly on a serving platter. Lightly sprinkle with salt and freshly cracked black pepper for added flavor.
- Drizzle the balsamic glaze over the skewers just before serving. Use a spoon or squeeze bottle for a controlled drizzle.
- Serve immediately at room temperature and enjoy the fresh, vibrant flavors!
Notes
- For a twist, add extras like olives or prosciutto between the ingredients.
- To make your own balsamic glaze, simmer 1/2 cup balsamic vinegar with 1 tablespoon sugar until reduced by half.
- Store leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 2 days. Add balsamic glaze just before serving.
- Prep Time: 10 minutes
