Description

This Baked Garlic Brown Sugar Chicken is the perfect combination of sweet and savory flavors. Tender chicken breasts are coated in a caramelized brown sugar and garlic glaze, creating an irresistible dish that’s easy to make and ideal for busy weeknights. Serve it with your favorite sides for a satisfying meal the whole family will love!

Ingredients

Scale
  • 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • 4 tablespoons brown sugar
  • 3 tablespoons unsalted butter, melted
  • 34 cloves garlic, minced
  • Salt and pepper, to taste
  • Fresh parsley, chopped (optional, for garnish)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C). Lightly grease a baking dish with cooking spray or oil.
  2. Pat the chicken breasts dry with a paper towel and season them lightly with salt and pepper.
  3. In a small bowl, mix together the brown sugar, melted butter, and minced garlic until well combined.
  4. Place the chicken breasts in the prepared baking dish. Evenly spread the brown sugar and garlic mixture over each piece of chicken.
  5. Bake in the preheated oven for 20-25 minutes, or until the chicken is fully cooked through (internal temperature of 165°F (74°C)). The glaze should caramelize and turn golden brown.
  6. Remove the chicken from the oven and let it rest for 5 minutes. Garnish with freshly chopped parsley, if desired.
  7. Serve warm with your favorite sides, like roasted vegetables, rice, or mashed potatoes. Enjoy!

Notes

  • Storage: Leftovers can be stored in an airtight container in the refrigerator for 3-4 days. Reheat in the oven or microwave.
